"Every Learner Matters" also provides a compendium that is the source document for the "Finding the Gaps" tools in the "Tools for Finding and Addressing the Gaps" page. It summates the full range of potential issues for each of the ECM categories that might be applicable to the different providers in the post 16 sector, in their original order. It is written in language appropriate to this age group and covers a very wide range of issues relevant to all learners in the sector that fall within the remit of the ECM agenda. Providers that are not catered for by the format of any of the above four sets of tools can go back to this source and develop their own analytical tool. One way of doing this would be to strip out the content of one of the "Finding the Gaps" tools and use it as a shell for pasting in the issues selected from the compendium.
